KL Rahul ruled out of the 1st Test against New Zealand Test due to injury

The Indian star opener KL Rahul has been ruled out of the first Test against New Zealand, which begins on November 25 in Kanpur. He is in magnificent form during India's recent T20I series against New Zealand, but he has reported being injured after the T20I series.

Rahul showed his quality during India's T20I series against New Zealand, which India won ruthlessly. He has been outstanding lately, and his absence will be a significant blow to India, who will already be without Rohit Sharma in the Test series.

Rahul was expected to open the innings for India with Mayank Agarwal, but his injury will force India to reschedule their lineup. It is unclear whether he would play in the 2nd Test, which will begin on December 3 in Mumbai. Rahul was excellent before the T20Is, despite India's early elimination from the T20 World Cup.

After winning the second T20I against New Zealand, India won the series, and debutant Harshal Patel was named player of the match for his impressive numbers. Still, he stated that Rahul deserved the award for his outstanding innings under challenging conditions.

Recently, the former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra said that if Rahul enters the IPL mega auction, he will be the most expensive player worth about 2 crores.
