Virat Kohli took the lead in lifting the team’s spirit by dancing

Virat Kohli, the senior batter and previous captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB), was seen dancing on the field before the game against Rajasthan Royals(RR). As they were set to enter the field to begin the game, the RCB players gathered around the boundary line.

Meanwhile, Kohli was filmed doing some movements in the camp to brighten the atmosphere. Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel joined him, with current RCB captain Faf du Plessis following in his footsteps. The video also features wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik, opener Anuj Rawat, and overseas spinner Wanindu Hasaranga.

On the other hand, the Red Army is playing the table-topping Rajasthan Royals in a group stage match of the IPL 2022 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After winning the toss, captain Faf du Plessis made no reservations about bowling first. RCB got off to a good start as opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed for 6/1 in 1.5 overs by bowler David Willey.

However, RR other opener, Jos Butler, and former RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal, formed a solid combination. Padikkal (37 off 29 balls) was bowled by pacer Harshal Patel after adding 70 runs for the second wicket. To be clear, he was snatched by Kohli, who made a fantastic catch.

At the 10-over point, Rajasthan were 76/2, with RR skipper Sanju Samson joining the opening batsman Butler. The pair will want to bat well and help their team to a reasonable total.

Rajasthan, on the other hand, has been in blistering form in their last two games. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, the five-time champions, have both been upset by the Jaipur-based club. The Red Army, on the other side, has only won one of their two games thus far.

Punjab Kings upset RCB in their tournament opener. They did, however, make a remarkable recovery in their last encounter, defeating Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) by three wickets.
